Sneak Peek: Jayda & Brianna

You may recognise the beautiful Jayda from my blog. She is the my cousin’s ‘baby girl’ so when i visit Sydney I love to grab some shots for Lisa (and I!) Isn’t she just beautiful?!!!

In April we welcomed Brianna into the family. She is also just DIVINE. Luckily Jayda and Brianna’s Daddy has lots of brothers to help keep the boys at bay when the girls are teenagers!!!!

day three | Sydney Children’s Photographer

Today we had the grandparents over!!! Great Grandma brought the trampoline for the kids for Christmas. She had to come and check it out and watch them in action!! At 81 years old, she managed to get up there and have a jump too!!!!

Madison is always right by my side. She loves to help me take in the washing. It is sweet, although it takes three times as long! hehe.

Another personal project i am doing is a self portrait one. I am taking a photo of myself for 52 weeks. It is so hard to be on the other side of the camera, but I have to learn to do this more often for my kids to look back on… Hopefully at the end of the 52 weeks, i won’t take up as much of that bed! hehe

day one | Sydney Children’s Photographer

1/31 | photo-a-day challenge

We bought Rob a Wii for Christmas. Caleb adores watching Daddy play Mario Cart. He grabs the spare wheel and thinks he’s driving!!! It’s very sweet although i’m sure Rob tires of Caleb’s constant questions after five minutes!

Whilst I was taking Caleb’s photos, Miss Madison had to try and steal the show as usual. She was out the back playing with the cars- or so we thought. Next thing we know she had gone down the side of the house and smooshed her face against the glass. She looks like a piglet- don’t you think?!! Ahhh a face only a mumma would love! hehe.

Ok.. day one passed. Lets hope i can keep this up!!! :)

Farewell 2008.

Happy New Year!!! I wish you all Peace & Love for 2009 xx

I’m currently giving my body a much needed rest, to be fresh and ready for 2009 by detoxing! Suffice to say, last night was a very quiet new years for Rob, the kids and I. We went out for dinner pretty early and caught the sunset on the way home. 2008 was a huge year for me- in both good ways, and bad. It was a beautiful moment to be sitting with Madison watching the sun go down. I feel very very refreshed in both my mind and body and am inspired and excited for what 2009 has in store for both my family and the business.

We are making our move up north- to Darwin in March. We will be based there until the end of 2010.

Here are some photos from yesterday. Caleb was sleeping, so unfortionately (or fortunately for him) he missed out on the photos. I am starting my personal challenge to take a photo of each of the kids each day in January today!! Please stay tuned for those photos.

Until next time,
D

Madison

Each January i have been doing a project where i make an effort to post at least two photos of the kids per day on my blog. I will be doing the same this coming January. It is a scary task as we are going to be away from home for a week or two in there… but i WILL succeed!!!

Madison and i had fun in her room this morning playing dolls. As most of my friends would know, i adore all things girly and pink, so having a baby doll all of my own… is completely my dream come true.

Anyway, here is some pieces of Madison’s bedroom. I like to collect little things for her and i to admire when she is old enough. In other big news.. she is beginning to get curls!!! All this humid weather is making little ringlets in the back of her head. Oh my….. she is DELICIOUS!!!

Stay tuned tomorrow for a post on all things CALEB..

Until next time…..

Sneak Peek: Gav, Craig & Mel

When my friend Mel contacted me a few weeks ago to book this session, she could barely finish her sentence before i said “YES!”. She is just SO STUNNING and her brothers aren’t all that bad either ;) .

I had so much fun this morning with them, although i was laughing so much, i am quite surprised i managed to get the photos in focus!!!! These boys are quite the comedians.

Anyway thanks guys for making this so much fun!! Hope you like them!

D xx
