Last weekend I photographed the wedding of this beautiful couple. As i think i have mentioned on the blog before, I haven’t been booking any weddings since last year. I have chosen to concentrate on newborns and babies. As i am counting down to my last wedding I am getting a little sad. It doesn’t help that my couples are putting on AMAZING weddings, in incredible venues with fabulous attention to details.

One of my other favourite things about my couples, is that they are a similar age to me with similar taste and most important of all.. they TRUST me and my visions. I like to find locations on the go, and they arn’t always the most obvious of places. Michael and Carli were fabulous and up for anything!!

I have to send a huge shout out Chantal the the amazing hairdresser who worked all morning making sure the girls looked stunning (Quirk Hair Salon in Berrimah).

Today I photographed the beautiful beach side wedding of Michael and Carli. The weather was just perfect and we made the most of that with some beautiful locations for photos.

Congratulations Michael & Carli!!!

Last Saturday I photographed the wedding of David and Nicole. Every single detail was carefully chosen and suited them perfectly. One of my most favourite things of the day was watching Nicole have her mother walk her down the isle. I have included those photos in the preview below, and as you can see, they were having the time of their lives!! Nicole was so excited to marry her soul mate and the ceremony was just beautiful.

David proposed to Nicole under a small tree near the water. We made sure to use that as one of the locations for their photos, and it worked out perfect. The little tree looked amazing with the sun setting behind it!!

Nicoles dress was by Maggie Sottero. The cake was made by Kurt’s Cakes in Darwin, and was the most incredible cake i have seen. It was just gorgeous. The reception was held on the lawn of Sky City with a perfect sunset as the backdrop.

Congratulations to both Nicole and David. I wish you both a magical life together!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of documenting the much anticipated wedding of Hamish and Kym in The Kimberleys, Western Australia. The Wedding and Reception was held on the grounds of Home Valley Station.

Hamish and Kym met in The Kimberleys, so it was fitting that they got married in the heart of Outback Australia. Kym and her mother Eileen worked tirelessly in making sure no details were overlooked. Planning a wedding two hours from the local town (via 4WD on a dirt road and though a river- no less) was no mean feat and they pulled it off perfectly.

This blog post is quite possible the biggest to date. I wanted to share as much as possible, to really showcase this beautiful country of ours and the love that was born within.

I just got back from photographing the gorgeous wedding of Hamish and Kym in The Kimberleys- Western Australia.

Congratulations to a gorgeous couple!

Yesterday I photographed the wedding of Kelvin and Sandy. When I walked in and saw Sandy, I almost squealed with delight. She is a photographers dream, and was looking AMAZING. Teamed with her handsome hubby and beautiful bridal party, it was an amazing day!!

As its now the wet season in Darwin, we had to contend with the weather. Before the ceremony we had amazing beautiful grey and moody storm clouds. It poured during the ceremony and left us with a slight drop in temperature for the photos after. I couldn’t ask for anything more!

Sandy and Kelvin were completely organised, on time and relaxed about every aspect. They trusted my visons and were willing to try everything i asked.

It really was a perfect day for a perfect couple. Congratulations Sandy and Kelvin and all the best for a long and beautiful future together!!
