It is almost the end of 2009. How on earth it has come around so fast I do not know!! As Christmas is approaching work is winding down. I am officially on leave as of December 21st.

This first year in Darwin has been amazing for my family and my business. I know i often say this, but i have really been blessed with the beautiful clients I have met this year.

As 2009 comes to a close, to celebrate the gorgeousness of my Darwin clients, I thought i’d hold my first ever blog competition!!

Below is the beautiful faces of my clients of 2009. All you have to do is vote for your favourite photo in the field below the photos. The client with the most votes will be receiving a beautiful 16×20″ canvas of a photo of their choosing from their session (valued at $530). Each person that leaves a comment with their favourite will also go into a random drawer to receive a complimentary session with myself and a $250 product voucher!

What a beautiful big family I had the pleasure of meeting today, including siblings all the way from Ireland!! Just a quick sneak peek of these gorgeous kids!

Four weeks until Christmas. I can’t quite believe how quickly that happens every year! I have been diligently collecting my favourites from each session in a folder, and am looking forward to sharing the sideshow on my blog in a few weeks to celebrate a FABULOUS 2009 in Darwin.

Today i was getting caught up on my admin and filing and came across my testimonial folder of a few beautiful notes I have collected over the year. I can’t quite describe how amazing 2009 has been for both the business and my personal life. I feel quite blessed. My most recent bride sent me this gorgeous email… aren’t my clients awesome. She made me cry with these beautiful words!

“All we can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You are AMAZING! YOU ROCK!!!!
I am so overwhelmed by your photos – and seriously can not believe this is me! I LOVE THEM! Both Byron and I really wanted to say that your the Best photographer we have ever met. Not only is your work professional and the best…. You are such a caring and beautiful person! You went far and beyond our expectations! Even dealing with the chaos before the wedding – help dressing the bride- to keeping everyone focused. You made my day!”

In other news, due to the wet season’s arrival and my love of natural light, all studio sessions will now be held in the morning.

I am taking a light schedule over the festive season, and will be interstate from January 1st for a few weeks and will give more details closer to the date.

I have some fabulous new things in store for 2010 and i cannot wait for the New Year to begin!

This afternoon I had a pretty little lady called Mia in for a session. She is breathtakingly beautiful- don’t you agree??

This week has been another busy week!! As i approach my Christmas order cut off, i am being flooded in ordering sessions and beautiful babies!!! Just a quick reminder that my cut off for a guaranteed Christmas delivery is 13th November. I have also had some beautiful products arrive this week, and will be blogging to share some photos in the next few days.

This post is a bit of a mixture of client sneak peeks. Firstly, i caught up with fellow Darwin photographer, Shanna from Jolie Jones Photography, for a mini session at sunset with her daughter Jemma modeling for us!!

Doesn’t Darwin have the cutest children in the world?? I think so!

Today was a little different for me. I stepped out of the studio and met baby Scarlett and her Mummy! She is so clever.. almost six months old and sitting up! We had a lovely time playing in the garden.
