Canberra Baby Photography ::
Once the newborn stage is over, the next best time for portraits is when baby is sitting up around the age of 6-8 months. This age is just beautiful as they are really beginning to explore the world around them. They find the tiniest things amazing and it is pure joy to capture!! They also share hilarious expressions and combined with their beautiful baby chub is is magic!
These sessions also take place in my home studio. Unlike newborn sessions these session can tend to be quick! They tend to get bored and restless after around 15 minutes. A baby session usually only takes around 20 minutes. I will prepare you for this when you arrive and once we are in the studio i am quick to capture expressions and their features before they tire.
Their skin at this age is creamy and delicious. For that reason i photograph them in bare skin and a nappy cover. If you have a special outfit you would like babe to wear you are welcome to bring it along.
