SubscribeOn Saturday i photographed the beautiful wedding of Josh & Suzie in Darwin. Every detail was amazing right down the the fact that they are two of the most photogenic people i have ever had the pleasure of photographing.

A few weeks ago, i got a lovely call from Judi wanting to organise a photo shoot of her daughters family and both Grandmothers. We met up this morning, and it was a pleasure to photograph these little guys!
A month ago I travelled to the Gold Coast to spend a week with a group of my fabulous friends (who also happen to be super talented photographers from all around the country- and New Zealand). We stayed in a beautiful house on the water and had our days filled with inspiration in the form of amazing photographers from the USA and Canada.
Day one was spent with Ashley Skjaveland and two gorgeous newborns. Day two was Brianna Graham and teens/urban and day three was Raye Law and watching her form connections with families to bring out the best memories for them to keep.
The final day was spent photographing tonnes of gorgeous models that had kindly given their time to us.
Here is just a small preview of our week. It was amazing.

Third precious baby girl for the week. Another two week old angel, born whilst i was away. Such porcelain skin and fair hair, she was just divine.
Wow.. it has been an amazingly busy first half of 2010 for Danielle Stahl Photography!! I just wanted to take the time to share some recent news with my beautiful blog followers and clients.
Firstly, I mentioned on my blog a few weeks ago, that Jennifer Stocks was going to be doing our family photos. WELL.. can i just say she is AMAZING. It was such a thrill to be on the other end of the whole family portrait process. I was in tears when we got our gallery. It was perfect! If anyone is reading from near Bathurst.. book her NOW. In other news, I am flying to beautiful Brisvegas next week to a photography workshop with a bunch of talented photographers that i am privileged to call my friends. One of those amazing girls is Fiona Anderson. She compiled a little list of our group, so if you would like to check it out.. please see her blog here: Fiona Anderson . I usually catch up with this group of girls once a year and spend many an hour on the phone late at night. Whilst in Darwin I am pretty isolated from the photography community. These girls are my support network, biggest cheerleaders and just all round fabulous people. Bring on next week!!
There is also a model call out for newborns under the age of two weeks for the workshop. The workshop is being held 15 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise so if anyone out there knows of someone in the area with a newborn, please see this blog post for more information. This is an amazing opportunity!!
Following my workshop, I am flying back to Darwin for a day or so, then back on a plane over to Broome to spend a week at Cable Beach Club for a close girlfriends wedding. This is the first Wedding i am not working at in a very long time. I will make sure i take a few photos, then put the camera down and celebrate.
So on that note, the studio will close on the 14th May and reopen 1st June. I will have limited phone and internet access over this period. For all urgent matters, I can be contacted on 0422 364 340.
Its about to get super busy for Danielle Stahl Photography. Wedding season is upon us in Darwin!! I have a few booked over the next two months, so please keep your eye out on the blog for the sneak peeks. Due to the success of my newborn/baby side of the business, i am no longer booking Weddings. I haven’t been taking bookings for the last few months as some people would be aware. I am still booking destination weddings and In a few years I will open the Wedding side back up For the moment though, i am needing to concentrate on my young family and the beautiful new people being born in Darwin.
I am hoping i have covered all of my news!! I may keep adding to this over the next few days.

This beautiful family has come all the way from the USA to live in Australia for a few years. We met at the park this morning, to capture their family before gorgeous Luke gets all grown up!
The weather is getting amazing in Darwin now. So beautiful and warm with a cool (ish) breeze. Its so nice to be able to venture back outdoors for sessions. There is so much news to fill my clients, friends and blog readers on, so will be back in the next few days with some studio news.
