Fifteen days in and Caleb is already completely OVER the camera. I am happy to respect his wishes but may try and get a trick shot of him for tomorrow.
Anyway being a six year old boy he is also not interested in shopping centres. Would much rather hang at home with Dad and do “man stuff”. Maddi and i hit Belconnon today armed with a cut out of Calebs foot to buy him some runners for school next year. I am so glad i got in early as the sports stores were full of people buying for back to school. If i left it any later i am sure they would have sold out of his size.
Of course Maddi and I had to venture into Witchery with her grabbing stuff of the racks like a teenager. We managed to get her a bunch of warmer clothes including what she is wearing in the photo (yellow skinny jeans and a mushroom cardi). The moment we got in she had to immediately change into her new clothes and show Dad!
(I love that she is pointing her toe like she learnt in Ballet! Didn’t notice until i was working on the image.. makes me smile!)

Taniel McKellar - Beautiful girl!!! I love it, she’s just so casual and comfortable in this shot. Glad you got some warmer clothes…certainly don’t need them here in Darwin. Standard this time of year – this airconditioner is on.January 15, 2012 – 5:47 pm
