I have spent the last two days in Sydney attending the judging of the 2012 AIPP ACT Photography Awards. Never in my wildest dreams did i expect to be awarded 2012 ACT Family Photographer of the Year. I can’t quite put into words how amazing it feels to hold that title.
This year i went through my client files and pulled out four images that i personally loved…. and felt were totally true to my heart. I chose images that i would be proud to display representing my work and business. To be honest, if they didn’t go well i would be ok with that as i stayed true to myself and tried my best. I am a huge believe in photographing babies in comfortable and safe environments… just how parents would like to remember their early days.
To be rewarded with my vision was is just insane! Easily the fourth best day of my life!!!!
Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to my wonderful clients for inviting me into their lives to photograph their precious babies in those emotional and tiresome first days. I am so grateful for your support.
Lastly… big hugs and kisses to the beautiful babies who show me just how amazing life is! A precious and miraculous gift. I am beyond blessed to spend my days gently soothing and photographing your tiny, perfect selves.
