:: Darwin Weddings ::

It sure has been a busy month in my office. Wedding season in Darwin is in full swing, and i have has a stream of beautiful bride and grooms through the doors to discuss their big day. There are some gorgeous weddings planned for the next twelve months and i cannot wait to capture it all.

:: Sydney ::

In other news, i am off to Sydney on on Tuesday for a week immersing myself in all things photography. The annual PMA which is being held in the Sydney Convention Centre this year, brings photographers from all around Australia together to check out the latest products and happenings in the industry. I am staying with a few of my photographer friends, and we have seminars, workshops and shopping on the agenda! I am sure it is going to be a great weekend and i cannot wait to bring back some new ideas to Darwin!

:: Australian Community of Child Photographers (ACOCP) ::

I have just taken up the position of state co-ordinator for the Australian Community of Child Photographers (ACOCP). Whilst in Sydney i am attending the AGM and will absorb as much information as i can to help get this service happening in Darwin. We need some more members, so if you are a photographer in Darwin and happen to be reading this please send me an email. I would love to hear form you.

To celebrate the start of the beautiful dry season in Darwin, i have decided to run two days of mini sessions! The sessions will be held on Saturday June 13th and Saturday June 20th 2009.

The cost of this session is $30 per family. This includes;
-20 minute photo session on location (either Darwin or Durack-depending on client interest)
-Private online gallery to share with family and friends (for three days)
-Ordering appointment in my studio to view your photos in the big screen and check out my products available for purchase.

Mini Session Conditions:
*Immediate family only per session fee
*Session fee does NOT include any prints, products or digital files
*clients must sign a model release for photos to be used in advertising and website/online
*These is no minimum print/product spend
*Payment of $30 is to be made at the time of booking via credit card or direct deposit

PROSPECTIVE WEDDING CLIENTS
I have been getting a fair bit of interest from clients currently living interstate and planning a Darwin Wedding. Usually when i have a wedding consultation, we watch a slideshow of a wedding, and my promo DVD. If you are interstate and are looking for a wedding photographer, please contact me and supply your details and i can organise a DVD to be posted to you. I have had some beautiful couples entrust me to capture their special day, and i’m very much looking forward to this next phase of my business.

On Tuesday i finished up Lachlan’s session. He was such a good boy for me!!! Newborn babies truly are my passion.

On another note, I am in the process of organising some mini sessions. Please contact me if you are wanting some gorgeous photos of your children, but are not after a full session. Mini sessions will be in half hour blocks with 10-15 photos per family. More details to come, so keep an eye out on the blog!
