What a sad day. I have been reading the online diary of Kahlilla Blyss’s parents for three years now. Sadly last night Kahlilla lost her fight with Neuroblastoma.

[8 hours old] Beautiful & fresh bundle of girl!!!

My second newborn girl in just one week!!! How lucky am I! Sophie’s mummy had booked in a maternity session with me for Wednesday, but Sophie couldn’t wait that long and was born in the early hours of Tuesday morning! She was also so well behaved today, and i feel very lucky.

A & J, Thanks for bringing around your princess in her early days of life. You are both very beautiful people, and she is one very blessed little lady to have you as her parents. xx

Look at this gorgeous little lady!! At just 13 days old she was a complete angel, and i loved every minute of our session!!

Yesterday i went to a friends (and fellow photog’s) house- , Narrelle and met up with Kristen! I have been friends with Kristen for a while, and it was great to finally meet her and her baby Mia in real life. She is just as beautiful in person, as she is online. It was so much fun hanging out with these great girls that provide me with much inspiration! Mia is 15 months, Alicia-Rae is 12mths- so Madison got along with them just fine!!

Here are the pretty little ladies in action. Kristen kindly leant me her 85mm 1.2 (!!!!!!). I am IN. LOVE. I will own this lens.. one day!

Thanks so much girls for a great day! We’ll have to do it again soon!!

I was sick of being so restricted by the weather (especially the Melbourne winter!!) so i decided to bite the bullet and learn studio lighting!

Here is one of my background colours that got delivered from the USA today. Suits Madison perfect- don’t you think?

I am quite behind in my blogging!! I have a few sessions i still need to blog, so should be a bit more busy here in the next few days!

Also some news for me is, we have had a change of plans in our posting, and we’re now off to Darwin at the end of this year. After quite a shock, i’m pretty excited to get up there and catch up with old friends!
